Young Starters – Business – Worth Encouraging? Part-1

‘Freelancing’ ‘Online Business’ ‘Learning and Earning’ and what not! We have now started hearing and reading these terms more often than we were used to. Why? Because accessibility is no longer an issue, learning is available on the worldwide web and awareness is building up in people to take risks.

So this raises a question, should we or should we not encourage young businesses or entrepreneurs? While comments are open for you to answer, I believe that we as parents can encourage ‘creativity monetisation’ yet educational priorities should NOT change. (I would love your comments here)

However, if a kid or adolescent child is showing some potential, is a self-starter and wants to pursue something out of their creativity, I think we should encourage that. Why am I proudly saying this, because I am a proud uncle. My two daughters (nieces) are now establishing their side hustle along with their education and I think they are doing pretty awesome.

Younger one first, so I would like to introduce a venture by my niece Ayana Omer (daughter of my brother) who has introduced one of the most adorable jewellery line called ‘LUMOS JEWELLERY UK’ and has priced it ‘just right’. She is making good ‘Sales’ and is evolving into a wonderful ‘Money Manager’. Her dedication towards her craft and passion to receive rave reviews from her customers has enabled her to create her own store on Etsy.com.

With a 5 star rating on her store, I cannot be more happy. We ordered from her and the way it was sent, packaged and delivered already shows sparks of a very successful entrepreneur and will make a big name.

Link to the store: www.etsy.com/shop/lumosjewelleryuk/

I cannot be more proud of her as I already am. Next time, I will showcase the other budding artist and entrepreneur. Stay tuned!

Hope this will motivate someone today!
